Sheffield Community Enterprise Development Unit (SCEDU), a social enterprise itself, was established in 1995, employing just three people with a remit to develop an enterprise culture within Sheffield communities. SCEDU has a committment to the development of existing and emerging community enterprises, social enteprises and small businesses operating in the most disadvantaged communities.
