STEP Development Trust

Deputy Childcare Development Manager

(EYP Status Preferred)

This vacancy is a 3 month temporary contract with an opportunity of becoming a permanent post.

Salary: £18,585

(The graduate leader incentive payment could be available for applicants holding the EYP status)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

YOu will be an affective early year's practitioner who is able to play a pivotal role in developing the Early Years Foundation Stage, ensuring high quality provision.

You will be able to demonstrate:-

  • Proven leadership, staff and financial management skills, a relevant childcare qualification together with at least 2 years supervisory experience in childcare services and be 21 years or over.
  • An excellent understanding of child development, early years practice and assessment and sensitivity to areas of inclusion
  • Good communication skills and an ability to work with a range of professionals from a variety of under 5's settings and sectors
